Community Involvement
Takes Place “Where The Rubber Meets The Road”
(3re Quarter 2008)

Bay Hill
Estates is just one of many private Florida communities
that recently turned to Ranger for its asphalt resurfacing
needs. |

For homeowners, the rubber meets the road at the
end of the driveway, often on roadways maintained by local
homeowners’ associations. Paving these neighborhood streets
requires a high level of performance, because the associations –
and the residents they represent – are especially sensitive to
the quality of work on the other side of the curb from their
front yards.
In communities throughout Florida,
Ranger
Construction has built a solid reputation
for meeting these high expectations, providing top-quality
asphalt milling and resurfacing services in a prompt and
courteous manner.
Recent projects include resurfacing over 3,000 sq. yds. of
parking lot surface for Atlantis Sherbrook, a subdivision in the
City of Atlantis, where Ranger’s Central Division has received
numerous roadway resurfacing contracts over the last four years.
The Division also has resurfaced miles of streets in Polo Club
at Boca Raton. Earlier this year Ranger crews performed yet
another contract for the community, paving roadways in the
Wedgwood section.
Also completed recently were a 30,400-sq.-yd. parking area in
Lake Worth’s Murry Hills subdivision, two miles of roadway
paving in Greenacres’ Buttonwood East community, and 1.3 miles
of resurfacing in West Palm Beach’s Land of the Presidents
residential area.
On the schedule this fall, Central crews are milling and
resurfacing nearly 10 miles of streets for homeowners’
associations in Jupiter, Wellington, Juno Beach and Palm Beach
Gardens.
Farther up the coast, Ranger North flexed its work schedule in
Daytona Beach to pave the streets and entranceways of Andros
Isles, a new DeBartolo apartment complex. The project got
underway in July, but work was interrupted when Tropical Storm
Fay flooded the area. Not until September was the Ranger crew
able to roll the last of the 24,550 sq. yds. of new asphalt.
Ranger North also resurfaced streets in Port Orange Landing, a
residential subdivision a few miles south of Daytona Beach.
Almost 21,000 sq. yds. of asphalt were laid and rolled in the
neighborhood.
In Leesburg, just northwest of Orlando, Ranger was invited in by
Pennbrooke Fairways to overlay 870 tons of asphalt on existing
pavement. Five streets were paved and rolled in just two days,
much to the satisfaction of area residents.
And in the state’s southern reaches,
Ranger
Construction South has completed a
number of neighborhood resurfacing projects in recent months,
including work at Boca West, Estada, El Mar and Cypresshead
communities.
“The representations made to us for quality of work and
completion date were met. I don’t hesitate to recommend Ranger,”
said William Raimond, Executive Director of Boca West Master
Association.
“I am happy to
recommend Ranger to any other communities that are considering
the resurfacing of their roads.”
