Ranger Laps Up Race Track Work
(1st/2nd
Quarter 2004)
When it
comes to race tracks, the Ranger name is leading the
pack.
Well-known for its high
quality grading and paving of roads and parking areas,
Ranger can also adapt to the unique challenges of specialty
projects.
One example is Moroso Motor Park in Palm Beach
County, where Ranger Construction Industries
recently finished an acclaimed high-speed go-cart racing track with an
exceptionally smooth surface.
Another is Gulfstream Park, a horse racing
facility in Broward County. Ranger Construction — South,
another Vecellio Group company, is on a “fast track” schedule to
rebuild the facility’s 170-ft. wide turf track and add a 90-ft. wide dirt
track in time for their respective racing seasons.
Ranger South also recently built a well-received
horse training track at Palm Meadows in Boynton Beach.

38 ‘Red Hats’ Tip Theirs To Ranger
(1st/2nd
Quarter 2004)
The ladies of the Red Hat
Society pride themselves on taking life with a bit of
silliness — thus the red hats and purple outfits they
like to wear on outings.
But the Red Hat Hooters from
Mulberry found it was no joking matter when their bus
broke down on I-4 in Orlando, right in the middle of a
construction zone.
Ranger employees provided
water for the bus radiator, but it leaked right out.
So they shuttled the women — 38 in all — to the safety
and comfort of a nearby restaurant for the two-hour
wait for a replacement bus.
As the society ladies would
say, “Hats off!” to Ranger North
for assistance during a difficult and potentially
dangerous situation.
